Asam Schlössel
Previously an artists’ abode, now gastronomy is the frame. Despite the ostentatious setting, prices remain reasonable, and the place is nicely surrounded by trees. Organic menu that fits the green setting with lots of healthy delicacies.

Really comfortable cellar bar with a vaulted ceiling. The bar’s décor is inspired by Brecht’s Threepenny Opera – there is a bank, a prison and a red velvet pleasure room for lovers.

Goldmarie
This small restaurant has a somewhat simple and authentic ambience. With its lovingly set wooden tables, all of which are decorated with fresh flowers, it is almost homely. Not only a very popular destination for day-trippers on the weekend, but also highly recommended for a romantic dinner. The imaginative Alpine cooking offers very special delicacies, such as porcini mushroom dumplings with fried pumpkin or grilled seafood on lamb’s lettuce: simply delicious!

Hacker Pschorr Bräuhaus

Wirtshaus zum Straubinger
Typical Bavarian pub near the Viktualienmarkt, which is where the fresh ingredients come from every day. Authentic brick-walled interior and a pleasant beer garden outside, daily light lunch specials attract diners but more substantial fare such as roast pork knuckle and dumplings is on offer.

Wirtshaus zur Brez´n
Right in the middle of the trendy bar scene on Leopoldstraße, you’ll find this Bavarian pub. It has classic Bavarian dishes and cocktails. Hot food until 2.30 am, happy hour every day starting at 10 pm. And of course there are always crispy, oven-fresh soft pretzels. You can enjoy all of this either in the cozy basement vault, on the ground floor around the Brez’n-Bar or in the rustic restaurant on the top floor.
