Akademie der Bildenden Künste
This academy is dedicated to promotion and training in various fields of the arts. Whether painting, sculpture, goldsmithing, stage design, interior decorating or costume design – this is the right place for Bavaria’s creative people, if they pass the entry tests.

Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften München  
This is Bavaria’s biggest applied sciences university and one of the biggest of its kind in Germany. It offers more than 60 courses in 14 faculties covering technology, business, social sciences and design. The faculties are located throughout the city at three different sites.

Hochschule für Fernsehen & Film  
Professional training in the fields of film and television. Here, professions of the media oriented toward the future are taught to a high level of standards. Such Oscar winners as Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck and Florian Gallenberger stem from this talent factory.

Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität
One of the largest universities in Germany with 18 faculties and about 47,000 students. Because of its size, the LMU is not located on a campus, but stretches over numerous sites in Munich’s inner city. The main building, which has an impressive architectural structure, also has a monument to the Scholl siblings and a memorial for the Weiße Rose in the atrium.

Technische Universität München
Bavaria’s only technical university and, at the same time, one of the leaders worldwide, with 12 faculties ranging from architecture to physics. The central compound is in the region of the inner city near the LMU, while further sites are found in Garching and Freising.

Bayerische Akademie für Werbung und Marketing 
Practice-oriented training and continuing education parallel to work in the areas of marketing, communication, PR, media and sales. Over 25,000 graduates since 1949. The BAW Alumni Club is one of the largest marketing networks in Germany (more than 3,000 members).

European University Business School  
This private international academy is one of the world’s top business schools. It offers basic and postgraduate courses in English, leading to Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and MBA degrees, as well as Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA).

Globe Business College Munich  
Students can study for internationally recognized degrees and post-graduate qualifications at this well-known business college. All courses taught in English. Classes are small and lessons are practically orientated. Students can help further their business careers with courses such as a nine-month extra-occupational study program for the Advanced Professional Diploma in Management, which is an MBA alternative, or a Bachelor in Business Studies, among others.
