More than 80 after-school activities per week, international programs such as Model United Nations, European Eco-School, and the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, as well as mandatory community service, help develop character, responsibility, and teamwork.
Digitalization & innovation
Modern technology is a natural part of everyday school life – used thoughtfully and purposefully. While smartphones are banned, digital learning is actively encouraged. With the new €25 million Creativity & Innovation Centre (CIC), BIS is further investing in its development as a school of the future. The guiding concept: STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math).
