Here Ku’damm merges into Tauentzienstraße where many stores can be found, as well, particulary mainstream shops such as H&M, Zara or Benetton. The Europa-Center with its 99 stores on three levels is located there, too. At Wittenbergplatz, at the end of 600-meter long Tauentzienstraße, continental Europe’s largest department store has its home, the famous seven-storey „Kaufhaus des Westens“ (Ka-DeWe). You can easily spend an entire day looking through the tremen­dous selection of goods offered here.

Stroll down „Kudamm“ to the west und you will find more shopping centers, such as the „Kudamm Karree“ or the new Kranzler Eck, right behind the famous „Café Kranzler.“ How­ever, you should walk down some of the smaller backstreets of the famous boulevard, as well. On Fasanenstraße you can find a row of exclusive shops. At Savignyplatz and on the surrounding streets, there are numerous bookstores, extravagant fashion boutiques, cafés, restaurants and galleries. Other attractive spots include Uhland, Knesebeck-, Keith-, Schlüter- and Bleibtreustraße with their elegant and out-of-this-world boutiques, noble designer and second-hand stores. Antique lovers should go to Suarezstraße with its 28 shops, offering furniture of all styles, glassware, china, silver, jewelry, timepieces, lamps, paint­ings, art and collectors’ items.
